Information We Collect
Clipper Creator may collect account details such as name, email, login/session information, workspace ID, selected membership, billing cycle, locked niches, language, region, subtitle style, brand settings, and support messages.
Workspace And Creator Data
The service may store candidate videos, scoring results, approved clips, generated captions, transcripts, job history, publishing choices, API key status, usage counters, and workspace configuration needed to operate the product.
API Keys And Credentials
Users may provide API keys or tokens for services such as YouTube, OpenAI, AssemblyAI, Cloudinary, Instagram, Facebook, or other creator tools. These credentials are sensitive. Production environments should use encrypted secret storage, restricted admin access, and secure environment variables.
Payments
Payments are processed by Stripe. Clipper Creator stores billing identifiers, subscription status, plan metadata, customer IDs, subscription IDs, checkout session IDs, and webhook records. Clipper Creator does not store full card numbers.
Clipper Creator may send account verification, password reset, onboarding, billing, and support emails. Email delivery may be handled by a provider such as Resend, which processes messages under its own terms and policies.
Third-Party Platforms
When users connect third-party creator services, those platforms may receive or process data according to their own privacy policies. Users should review the policies of each connected provider.
How We Use Information
Information is used to operate memberships, enforce plan limits, recover workspaces, process clips, provide support, maintain security, troubleshoot errors, improve workflows, and comply with legal or billing obligations.
Retention And Deletion
Workspace settings, generated assets, logs, backups, and billing records may be retained while an account is active and for a reasonable period afterward. Users may request deletion of workspace data, subject to legal, security, fraud-prevention, tax, and billing-record requirements.
Security
We use access controls, workspace tokens, admin protection, HTTPS, restricted CORS, and backup procedures to protect the service. No online service can be guaranteed perfectly secure, so users should keep their own platform credentials private and rotate keys if exposure is suspected.
